Comments on: Brushed metal iMacs on the way?

It does look nice, but I don’t see the iSight camera on top, that’s something that definitely they won’t take off the iMac. Other thing is that it looks like it’s standing straight with no option to tilt the screen, and that would be a pain in the a** to everybody.

I was close to buying a new 20″ iMac this past weekend. Looks like I’ll hold off a bit! If they have a 20″ model for close to the same price as the current, I’d jump at it. The glossy white is nice to look at, but not really practical for everyday use…it gets kind of nasty…dirt and all.

Erm, just a quick cluex4 – Apple don’t use ‘Brushed’ metal for the Mac Pro, it’s a surface coated Aluminium (yes, I’m British ). Brushed metal is sooo 2002…

I for one would love to see a less expensive MacPro. But, an iMac with a 30″ screen and that brushed aluminum would be awfully nice. Especially if I could add more than 3GB of memory.

josh… that mockup is a MacPro with a screen on the side!
we should be more excited for the new MBP’s that are coming out tomorrow or next week at WWDC!
