Palm to announce new mobile device on May 30th

Just when you thought Palm might go the way of the Do-Do, they rise up with a potential revolution. Come tomorrow, a new, not-yet-leaked toy, claimed by Palm to be a "new category of mobile device," is set to be announced. The webcast will follow the announcement of this new product at the D: All Things Digital conference in Carlsbad, Calif.     Wow, I thought Palm was dead. These devices are sooooo outdated. Who wants to carry a cell phone, PDA, and a pager when they can buy a Windoze SmartPhone or a BlackBerry? Gotta run, my car phone is ringing LOL…

    As long as it is not windows based. I needed something that natively syncs with Lotus Notes.

    It is rumored to be be similar to the OQO2 and other UMPC’s in terms of design. I’m not really interested if that’s the case. It’s dubbed the “Hawk”.
