She had no problem using her old phone that had camera, texting, etc. but wanted to get a phone she could see and hear better with. The numbers on the keypad are large and lit up and I even tried the phone and the padded ear piece really blocks out sounds! My mom is 55 and loves her Jitterbug! He like features and if anything he is part of the MAKE crew, he added power windows to a manual windows rig. But any way the phone is nice and could be of use even for those that are other than "slow".
