Blackberry Curve on AT&T’s site…sorta

There…can you see it? It’s the light at the end of the tunnel. Usually a good sign, AT&T is finally teasing their Curve on their Business/Premier site. They did the same thing with the BlackBerry 8800, and then proceeded to release it about a week or so later. Does that bode well for the rumored potential 5/25 (tomorrow) release? It is anyone’s guess. However, it still looks like a release prior to the other-rumored June 13th date is inevitable. Not to mention that it doesn’t seem likely that AT&T would release the Curve AND the iPhone so close together.

I am really upset that My “Dumb & Dumber” response to John Denver didn’t get more of an acknowledgement. We need more humor and less Curve angst on the comment boards.

I never thought to ask bout the 91xx. . . so is the series still undecided? I thought it to be 91xx(consumer) and 99xx(business) but I see everyone go 9xxx. mayun I just need a new phone my PPC6700 is crap haha I always wanted a BB but thought they were ugly. . . until now HAHA!

Ok guys, I will comment. The reason I have not said anything is because I was trying my best to confirm the date of release for the second time. As of now, I have no updated information, thus the delay in responding to the comments. I would rather get something concrete than post rumors with no fact or substance behind them, and thought by now we would be free and clear with a set date. I personally think the June 13th date is incorrect and we will see it earlier than that, I like to think of AT&T “like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna’ get.” Once again, I am doing my best and appreciate everyone’s excitement.

I agree with BG. There is no way this phone is going to come out on June 13th. ATT already expects this time period to be a “huge selling period” for the iPhone and I seriously doubt they would compound that with another device like this.
I would also assume that Apple demanded some type of time period (a month maybe?) that no other PDA’s would be released. If this is so, expect nothing from the PDA department for the month of June which is why there are rumors they want this phone out by the end of May…
The Curve WILL be out before the end of the month. GARUNTEED! I dare you to doubt this. June 13th?? Balogna! Bottom line? Truth counts. Spelling is irlevant.
So does this mean a late summer release for Tmo? Hurry up Tmo, I want to switch over already!
Just spoke to my regional AT&T Business rep – he said the stores did NOT get them delivered last night – which means they won’t be available today. He feels that it will be available the last day of May – per the verbal he got directly from his regional RIM rep yesterday. Aghh….another week! He could be wrong…but it sounded fairly legit.
At least he has (2) being set aside for me at his main store!

I would be offended if that comment came from someone who knew what they were talking about…I will say that I spotted either the 8300 or 8320 being used by someone in one of my meetings earlier today. I had planned to stop and talk to him, but he dashed out to take a call and never returned. Obviously he was worried about getting overwhelmed by the amount of people who would approach him and ask him about the product in his hand after the meeting-that’s why he faked a call and left early….or was that you BG?!?!?!Hmmmmmm….
ATT Store this morning BB people told them next week. I guess they called cause people kept coming in about it today

Just got the heads up from my corporate Cingular/AT&T rep – Curve is launching on Thursday, all markets and will be an AT&T exclusive for at least 90 days…
