Blackberry Curve on AT&T’s site…sorta

There…can you see it? It’s the light at the end of the tunnel. Usually a good sign, AT&T is finally teasing their Curve on their Business/Premier site. They did the same thing with the BlackBerry 8800, and then proceeded to release it about a week or so later. Does that bode well for the rumored potential 5/25 (tomorrow) release? It is anyone’s guess. However, it still looks like a release prior to the other-rumored June 13th date is inevitable. Not to mention that it doesn’t seem likely that AT&T would release the Curve AND the iPhone so close together.
This is turning out to be like Y2k. I think we are going to repeat history and count down till tomorrow and then…..nothing no 8830. I hope im wrong!
BG, this is SO lame that you won’t comment on this. Your credibility is in question at this point. If you don’t know, come out and say “I don’t know”. Don’t hide in the corner snickering at all of us desperate for info we “think” you know. Come clean!

Maybe he is not replying because he already said what he had to say and this is his way of sticking to it. I can’t imagine he’d put his reputation on the line by being wrong and not admitting it.
I just talked to a pimple-faced kid on the phone at my local AT&T store. He went to ask the manager and came back with the news that they will be carrying it but do not have any in stock right now and and don’t know when they will get any.
I’m thinking it’s next week, either Thursday or Friday.
Some of you folks act like BG owes you something.
As Mike said, maybe he simply has nothing new to add. Or could it be that – gasp! – he has something else he has been working on today besides catering to your 8300 news jones?

Again, just ’cause some people are OCD’ing over up-to-the-second news on the Curve doesn’t mean that BG is. Believe it or not, not everyone who reads this site is here for Curve news.

First of all-I’m so tired of all of the posts by people who do not have enough of a grasp of the English language to be able to post coherent messages(jhoody,leo). Yes this is a posting that is specific to the Curve….but how many times do you have to mention how badly you want the Curve and how upset you are that you don’t have a confirmed release date?!? It sounds to me that you are blaming BG for there not being a specified release date. I think I’m correct in saying that BG is not in charge of when a product is released for any of the carriers out there. That being said-I pity those sad individuals who sound like their life depends on finding out when a product is going to be released. I hope that you can find something more worthwhile in your lives to obsess over, and focus your energy on that. The good Lord knows that there are larger issues that are affecting us and the release date of the Curve is certainly not one of them. I’m not saying that I’m not looking forward to when I will be able to get my hands around the wonderfullness that is the BB Curve-I’m just saying give it a rest-we all get the point that you are so vehemently beating into the ground…no really-we get it!
