Blackjack Windows Mobile 6 upgrade on its way?

The German division of Samsung will soon be offering a complimentary upgrade for Samsung i600 owners. While the updated ROM will be targeted at German users, Windows Mobile ROMs generally include support for a multitude of languages, giving rise to the hope that this will allow current Cingular customers to get their hands on some Windows Mobile 6 love. A while back we reported on a possible BlackJack WM6 upgrade set to drop around June. Could this be an indication that the official AT&T version is close to complete? Given AT&T’s support track record, we wouldn’t hold our breath, but if the German version ends up sporting built-in support for us English speaking phone addicts over here, we wouldn’t be too upset. When the software update does go live, it will be available here. Be warned, however, that the site is in German. Proceed at your own internet translator aided risk.

oh my god please let me have this upgrade for the love of god, why does it take so long for them to do this
Well, I headed over to try the upgrade but either it wasn’t there– or I couldn’t understand German haha. All that was there were downloads for MMS, GPRS, and the WAP settings? I have no idea what that was.
