BlackBerry Curve goes Humpty Dumpty
Any true gadget fanboy can appreciate the disassembly of a well-manufactured product, and the BlackBerry Curve is no exception. Without a doubt, it is the smallest and lightest full QWERTY keyboard BlackBerry, which also has the best build quality in my opinion. Taking apart the device is pretty straight forward just like with any other BlackBerry. As long as you know where the screws are, and which pieces to remove, you should have no problem. To protect my source I have removed any identifying marks, and product codes on the components used — it shouldn’t affect your viewing experience. Is it coming out on verizon? ANd how does this compare with the 8330?
Does anyone know when and if any “version” of the Curve will be offered by Verizon?
Verizon is the only choice I have.
Any chance you can take out the trackball and see if it has the Pearl’s colored LEDs under it?
Can you tell us how you access the other screws? I’m only seeing two screws when I take off the battery cover… what do I do next?
I agree with James, I’ve taken the top 2 screws out but I need the next steps in order to disassemble. Help Please!
