Nokia N82 unleashed
"I thought I told ’ya that we won’t stop, I thought I told ’ya that we won’t stop!" Perhaps there’s something in the Finnish water supply. Whatever the reason, Nokia keeps churning out new and impressive handsets at an alarming impressive rate. The most recent arrival is the N82. Sporting a Cybershot-esque candybar design, this 3G handset sports a 5 megapixel camera, 320 x 240 TFT screen, built in Wi-Fi and A2DP Bluetooth. Further specs are a bit shaky, and there’s no info regarding specific pricing. but release dates have been rumored to be Q4. This may be for the best, as the N95 buzz has yet to fully settle. Given Nokia’s recent track record, we don’t expect this to head to our shores, at least not initially. Who said a little dreaming hurt anyone, right?

No GPS. I kinda like that feature of my N95. I have to run my grubby mitts all over it before I can really say for sure, but odds are I’ll have one anyway. I’m such a consumer whore.

This is the phone with all the things I’ve been looking for the last 2 years:WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, HSDPA, normal earphone plugs, quality camera with xenon flash…Can’t wait for it to come out!

This looks like the Sonly Ericsson style. Although it looks nicer than N95, it “does not” include the build in GPS…

By the way, this isn’t the final layout for the N82. They should change tje keypad layout; it looks too feminine. And I think Nokia will add GPS to this phone… hopefully. Anyway, the features are the best of its class!! Beats iPhone by a mile. Just wish it has excellent sound and video quality!
It DOES have GPS
Having seen the N82 in person I can vouch for its glory. Its ability to take pictures in low light settings is truly remarkable, and it seems much more responsive than the N95. A nice upgrade for all candybar lovers!
This is a great camera phone and if you are partial to the candy bar format this is a definite consideration. The surprising thing is that it is already available on pay as you go in the UK. Ordinarily, the higher spec phones do not get launched for some time but the CPW group have already released it – great new for those with bad credit.
