Speakers fit for a king
If you’re Bang and Olufsen speakers are making you feel inadequate, then you either have a serious problem, or need to take a look at these new units from Bowers and Wilkins. Crafted out of Italian Grigio Carmica or Belgian Black Marble, these speakers feature a "pure diamond dome." This is somewhat misleading, as while the dome is not purely of diamonds, it does contain some small pure diamonds that are intended to strengthen the constitution of the solid rock. Distinctions, distinctions. Each roughly 3 feet high, the pair of speakers provide brilliant sound reproduction by way of a 25 millimeter tweeter and a 180 millimeter bass/midrange driver. I can’t say that I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing the sound conducting potential of pure marble, but for $21,000 a pair, it better be pretty damn good.
