My Canadian phone bill is about 3x as much as it was compared to when I lived/worked in the U.S. Rogers is the worst offender, nickel and diming everyone for the littlest things. Voicemail? That's extra. Caller ID? That's extra. I could go on and on and on... It’s embarassing how much Canadians are forced to pay for not only mobile phones but mobile service. I can live with a 3-year contract when there is only a $200 cancellation fee (basically negating the hardware subsidy), but how about some competitive pricing on voice/data that is more in line with our friends from the south.... unlimited in country calling and unlimited data would be nice, even if it did cost me $250/month. Can anyone say oligopoly?!?
