BlackBerry Curve Gallery

Did you know that our #1 request in regards to the BlackBerry Curve has been comparison photos with the BlackBerry Pearl? If you didn’t know, the BlackBerry Curve was officially announced today, thus ending our NDA. Without further delay, take a look at some of the shots to let you really get a feel for how perfect this device is. I don’t care if you love SureType, this one might just been too good to pass up on. Also can we get a running count of how many people will either return their BlackBerry 8800 and buy a BlackBerry Curve, or purposely havn’t bought a BlackBerry 8800 knowing that your good friends at BGR told you about a newer, and sleeker device. In addition to our continued BlackBerry Curve coverage here, BlackBerryCool has managed to snag some hands-on pics as well. Check them out too!

Click on over here to see our new gallery featuring the BlackBerry Curve, in all compromising positions.

^^^ I heard the same thing and concur. It makes perfect sense that TMO will hold this off until they can “upsell” the BB with their other products and services.

I already have a Treo for work that has a camera AND records video but I also want a supplemental BlackBerry so I’m probably going to go with what I don’t have – GPS, i.e. the 8800.

I’ll probably upgrade to the 99XX whenever that comes out – hopefully it’ll be the ALL MIGHTY of all BB’s.

BTW, does anyone know when TMO will be getting the 8800? It is on the WORST backorder in the entire world.

I’m hopeful and patiently waiting for it to come out for verizon w/ gps. I might not need Wifi because of evdo.

If verizon cripples anything on the phone, I’ll switch in a heartbeat

I handle wireless for my company and we have over 1600 blackberrys. My T-Mobile corp account manager told me the 8300 would be out in June. At that time, he had also told me the 8800 was coming out on 4/23 for T-Mobile, so I trust him. He’s never let me down in the past.

I’ve never had a PDA phone and am way overdue. I’m deciding between the curve and a treo 755. From what I’ve read, I like the simplicity and reliability of the BBs. Those features are super important to me! I will not NEED email though- really want a good calendar, contacts list and organizer for work.

    Any advice??

Any photo’s of the 8300 next to the 8700?
Size of screen compared with each other?
Does the 8300 have all the applications of the 8700? Security? Firewall?
