AT&T pulls Nokia N75 from site before we can order

Faster than you can say "What the hell?" AT&T has pulled the N75 from their site, no longer offering it for an impressive $199 with 2-year contract. Thousands of subscribers, overjoyed with what appeared to be the launch of a fantastic handset, are now in a deep state of mourning, and who can blame them? It’s anyone’s guess as to why America’s first 3G Nokia phone had such a brief stay on the company’s site, but this type of botched product launch is becoming par for the AT&T/Cingular course. Does anyone remember the Cingular Pearl disaster? Whatever the reason, let’s just hope that AT&T gets their eggs in order and actually releases this thing sometime soon.

UPDATE: Engadget is reporting that some people are actually still able to view the phone as in stock, who knows with AT&T!

I know that some people were able to purchase it before it came off and they are honoring their orders which is good.

I personally don’t care about it. I played with it a bunch of times at the Nokia Store here in NYC and I would much rather keep my PPC.
