Best Buy to open over 150 Mobile stores

It looks like Best Buy will be launching up to 200 Best Buy Mobile wireless stores in their Boston, New York, and Texas markets. According to Best Buy the phase-in of the new Mobile stores will happen in the next 18 months. They look to be the only game in town right now, crushing Circuit City, and CompUSA just from a profitability standpoint alone. We’ll have to wait in see how their Mobile stores will differ from the current in-store wireless phone kiosks. Either way Best Buy assures us that they’re adding an "expanded assortment of handsets, accessories, and services." These are set to include, AT&T, Sprint Nextel, Verizon Wireless, and MVNO’s like, Virgin Mobile, Amp’d Mobile, Boost Mobile, Cingular Go Phone, and Verizon InPulse. Right on.

I wonder why Best Buy is excluding T-Mobile? I’d leave T-Mo, but I want that BlackBerry 8320 when it comes out in May.
