Sprint has sent out the data sheet for their upcoming PPC-6800 (HTC Titan). What a great phone, if it only included Windows Mobile 6 and EV-DO Rev A., instead of hinting at the possibilities of being able to upgrade later. Featuring a 2.8" QVGA LCD screen, WiFi, Bluetooth, microSD card, and 2-megapixel camera with flash, auto-focus and camcorder, it is expected to launch late next month as the replacement to the PPC-6700.

Anyone else having trouble installing the software? It keeps telling me I need to install Adobe Flash Player version 8.0 or above, and I installed 9.0 and it keeps giving me that error message. I can’t figure out how to get past it. Driving me crazy…

If you sign up for a 2-year agreement, it is supposed to take $150 off automatically. If you are already a Sprint customer and are upgrading, but they don’t give you the option of signing a 2-year agreement, then it means your current contract has probably not expired yet, so therefore you are not eligible for the discount.

Fellas, I may be late as many of you know this by now I’m sure but the PPC 6800 WILL have windows Mobile 6 but will only have EV-DO Rev.0 but apparently this will change with an upgrade, but we shall see. I bought mine last night off of the sprint site for *gasp* $564.78! I should start expecting it monday but almost certainly it will come wednesday. It’s going to kick so much ass!!

I actually was in a sprint store here in atlanta and was telling the customers about the phone and the reps at the sprint store had no clue and actually told me that it would not be released until september!!! (idiots) That was on the 16th i recieved my phone on the 17th from customer service. It is a great phone and it is equiped with wm6 i had the 6700 and this is far better. So if you are thinking of a great device this is it!! 1 Down to it .. the phone is not coming with all the messengers so you will have purchase it from another source !! but the phone is worth it and all the memory you will be in heaven!!

Is there a way to stop the Mogul from flashing? I have been all over the settings and phone options but can’t find a way to turn it off. This was a nice option on my Treo. When I go to bed, I pretty much have to face the phone down. Thanks in advance.
