Hitatchi 1TB drive now available
At $399, I’m not sure how you could complain. We are talking about 1000 gigabytes, yeah guys, 1 terabyte. The Hitachi Deskstar 7K1000 3.5" drive according Hitatchi themselves can hold, "about 330,000 3MB photos or 250,000 MP3s." Hitatchi’s current lineup includes a 500GB, and 750GB drive, so this is definitely a welcome addition! The Deskstar 7K1000 hard drive from Hitachi Global Storage Technologies is now currently available for sale at retailers.

Holy crap…how much junk do you really have to actually need that much space? Not that I’m complaining about it… I’m just amazed…Good work, Hitachi.
