AT&T Launches ExpressCard 3G Modem

AT&T has launched an Option GT Max ExpressCard modem today, and all the Apple fanboys rejoyced, well that is until they realized that out of the box it doesn’t support OS X. It’s Quad-band GPRS/EDGE and Tri-band UMTS/HSDPA capabilities allow it to work over a wider range of networks and areas, here domestically and overseas aswell. With speeds up to 3.6 Mbps downlink / 384 Kbps uplink, this sucker is fast. It’s available today for only $49 after $100 mail in rebate. The fast speeds, and low price won’t keep us Apple freaks at bay for long. Even though it natively doesn’t "support" OS X, Apple has driver support. Get ready for a rush of mobile bloggin’ baby!
