HTC Cavalier launching as Dopod C730?
Add the Dopod C730 to the long-growing list of handsets set to be released next month in May if CNET Asia is correct. Everyone waiting for the HTC Cavalier might have gotten a lucky break if you’re hoping for the 3G phone. It would be one of Dopod’s first Windows Mobile 6 Standard devices, with all the specs from the unit we have intact. These include a 400 MHz processor, 128MB ROM, 64MB RAM, with quad-band EDGE, and triband UMTS/HSDPA. The Dopod C730 is expected to be available in Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and The Philippines in May.

This phone is still pending confirmation through Dopod. Also HTC has announced that they will not manufacture this phone so I think Dopod is out of luck. Start looking for another phone.
God damnit HTC, just make the phone already.
