Control Your DVR With Your Cell Phone

Every forget to record your favorite show before you left the house, and there’s no time to head back? Well at&t’s video service U-verse TV will allow you to search U-verse TV program listings, schedule program or series recordings, and manage or delete stored DVR content. This is their latest addition to their service which previously allowed Web remote access to their DVR on a PC using the at&t Yahoo! broadband portal. Now you can access your DVR on your wireless device, TV and PC. This new feature comes at no extra charge to U-verse TV subscribers, and can be used on a multitude of at&t mobile phones.

Overall, AT&T U-verse TV has grown quite quickly since the beginning of the year, with over 18,000 U-verse television and Internet subscribers currently. They are installing 2,000 new installations per week, which is five times as many as it’s rate back at the start of the year. That is around 300 new installations per day. Pretty good for ending up with only 3,000 subscribers at the end of 2006. If you live in one of at&t U-verse’s markets, give this new service a try today.
