LG Shine Unboxing
I have to say, this a beautiful looking phone. Even though the opposite sex could sure make more use out of it than us, with the mirror feature and everything, it really looks damn good! LG has manufactured a great phone — build quality wise. The Shine is extremely well constructed, and feels great in your hand. It’s not too heavy, but not too light either. Sliding the phone up and down also proved that slider-phones can be well made, and LG delivered. One of the new features LG added was the scroll bar, and while it’s fun, it acts like a novelty because it is just too sensitive. In theory it was genius, but chances are you will flick it by accident when you meant to select something and the practicality of the scroll bar goes down. One more low point is the keypad due to it’s construction. The keys are too hard to press and too close together. All in all the LG Shine might have to wipe it’s mirror-finish every once in a while because this is a case of an amazing concept, with some poor implementations.
