Nokia N95 Unboxing
Nokia defines their new N95 flagship handset as a "multimedia computer". We finally have a cell phone that is capable of replacing dedicated devices. From the camera, to the music player — it doesn’t disappoint with a 5 megapixel shooter, and 3.5mm headset jack. The web browser and the built-in GPS — nothing bad to say. Nokia has learned a lesson from their N93 phone which was one of the biggest, now scaling down the size, making it feel good, not just make it smaller. The 2-way slide is very nice except it isn’t as firm as you would like it to be which may cause some sliding and unlocking of the keypad while carrying. At the end of the day, if your in the market for a phone, not an email-centric device, or a smaller-than-life device, buy the N95. After all, we can give a shout out to the 850MHz band, bitches!

exciting! but the 3g on the n95 isn’t US compatible yet, right?
Which one do you have, an EU 3g version, or a special not supposed to know about the US one?
Nice phone, great features and even better camera. This is a great phone, if I had one I would be very happy, now from what I have learned from other phones. No one device for the time being be able to replace others, it will be if anything an extension of what I already have. I have found that it is possible to live with a phone and DAP for now being separate. In any case sweet phone and send some one some love, maybe I can get one soon.
You forgot a pic of it slid the other way to expose the media controls.
BG, you’re the man.
this is sold through nokia’s website right?
it still hurts me deep down that it isn’t US 3g…
How much will this run for? this kills the iphone already. I’d get this i just need to know the price. And when a US 3G versions surfaces, will it be T-Mobile 3G compatible (1700) or just the at&t 3G?
Damn this phone is so bad ass. I wish it had US 3G.
Still, I want one.
For those asking about price, according to engadget, the phone retails for around 550 Euros which is aprox 733USD.
There are rumors floating around that Cingular may offer it subsidized albeit locked and w/ features removed. if it does actually happen, I’m going to take a wild guess and say that most likely wifi and the front camera will go.
