I was very surprised when I just glanced down at my BlackBerry 8300 and saw a boatload of new "browser icons" and a ton of new service books. What exactly did I see you ask? Nothing too exciting, just XM Mobile Radio, AIM, ICQ, and some cool other things. Yeah, XM Mobile Radio! Looks like RIM and at&t are gearing up to launch this device sooner than later if you ask me! Click on to the Gallery to see exactly what i’m talking about!

Any ballpark on date of release??

Very nice but no gallery here, maybe it’s me but sometime this happens. And it seems that it always happens to me… Maybe the gallery link is more of spiritual thing. In any case I think these little findings are always welcome.

Also by the names I can understand what most of the new goodies are but any clues as into what they mean by “community”? Let us in on your great amount of knowledge.

I guess I will have to leave Sprint after all and become Cingularized. Which is more frustrating, not having the goodies to use or hating your carrier and their nickel and dime approach? Well, maybe this will come to Sprint soon and I won’t have to change. One can always dream…….

Any time table as to when this will be released for T-Mobile? Also, how would you compare RIM’s AIM client to the Sidekick’s?

I think he’s implying that the time featured in the picture above is a hint at when this baby will be released. April 20th?
