Sprint’s Redefining Flip
The Sprint marketing machine is at it again with wave three of their Sprint Ambassador program. This controversial program gets phones into the hands of bloggers free for 6 months. Wave three has two phones to choose from: The Sprint-exclusive Samsung M610 dubbed "the thinnest clamshell wireless phone in the United States," and a "yet to be determined" phone.
The "yet to determined" hotness (rumored to be the two sided Samsung "Flipper" m620) is ultra thin at 0.37 inches (9.4mm), has a dual LCD touch sensitive navigation pad, with a stereo bluetooth profile. It also features a 1.3 megapixel camera, dual-band EVDO, it uses microSD and has an extended battery ‘wallet.’ Details of this new phone can be found in this Sprint document. Ch-ch-check it out!

So what are the chances of getting in on this program? I mean I find that anything that is free is always nice. SO why not?
The first phase there were 400 participants, 50 in phase 2, and 150 in phase 3. These people were chosen by Sprint. They have not disclosed the method they used to pick these “Ambassadors,” but it seems as most are popular bloggers.
Nick! Nice to see you on here. Looking forward to your pieces.
I want to see a decent pic of this thing in action
Why is the program “controversial”?
I’m in Phase III. From what I was told, people were chose not only based on their blog, but also their geographic location – Sprint wanted to cover all the major metro areas. Where did you get the info about there being only 150 people for phase iii?
