		<description>I agree..you don&#039;t even heve to have U-Verse to experience this.  They have changed the service/prices on my bills month after month.  They promise me something, I get it for a month and then they change the price.  If I didn&#039;t look on my bill, then I wouldn&#039;t notice.  I know so many people are getting ripped off.  I have paid $27 a month for over 8 months now and they jacked it up to $37 and they tell me they can&#039;t fix it.  I was promised $4 unlimited long distance.  It stayed like that for a month then each month they move it up more.  I got something called a 2 pack on local service and of course that only lasted a month also.  If you call to fix it they only try to sell you more stuff and then mess up the next bill.  I am at my wit&#039;s end.  There isn&#039;t any other phone providers in my area.  I don&#039;t know what to do.  I just talked to a supervisor that told me she would call me back.  Do you think that&#039;s going to happen?  I don&#039;t understand why they can&#039;t fix it while I am on the phone.  It&#039;s ridiculous.</description>

		<description>I left AT&amp;T after they charged me for call I did not receive or make. They stated that because I was in  a roving zone overseas. I have to pay for message left on my phone.  The contract fine print says that even if you d not make or receive cal you a liable for roaming charges left on voice mail. I specifically asked the question to AT &amp; T prior to my trip and they told I would not be charged as long I did not actually make or receive any calls. AT &amp; T is a deceptive company and new law needs to be introduced to stop the monopoly this company.  I will never use any AT &amp; T service again and plan letting everyone know that AT &amp; T has and endorses deceptive practices and hiders behind legal jargon that the average person would not understand until it’s too late. I have not paid the bill and thank god my contract was over. I will take this to court even if I lose it will bring national attention to this companies bad behavior</description>

		<description>I, too, left AT&amp;T for Cingular in 1999.  And was VERY pleased with Cingular&#039;s service for all the years I was with them.  Now, it is a nightmare.  Billing problems (new fees), service problems, failed calls with 5 bars, voice mail when it shouldn&#039;t go to voice mail... horrible.  Absolutely the worst I have ever seen in all the years I have had cellular service.  Also, I have had no communication regarding the suit.  This site is the first I have heard of it. I would LOVE to be diposed for this suit.</description>

		<description>I am greatful that there is a law suit!  I started with AT&amp;T and had fulfilled my 2 year contract and continued service. When I started with AT&amp;T they gave me a TDMA phone.  When Cingular took over they started charing me fees that I had not been charged before.  My favorite fee...System Upgrade fee of $7.95/Mo.
Then a new fee popped up as they were discontinuing the TDMA service.  So there was another 4.95/mo fee.  I called and said that I was not responsible for the System Upgrade fee if I was not USING that system because my phone was TDMA.  Well...that went nowhere.  But boy were they willing to make me sign a 2 year contract.  So I asked them to if I could just pay for a CDMA phone and swith from TDMA to CDMA and they said &quot;No&quot; you have to sign a 2 year contract.   I felt like a hostage!!!! Money Grubbing Buggers!!!!   So I went to T-Mobile got a better plan and saved $17.00 a month.  Funny..AT&amp;T sends me post cards asking me to join AT&amp;T.  I just toss them.  iPhone or not.. I will never use AT&amp;T wireless.   I am researchign this suit so I can join.</description>

		<description>I contacted AT&amp;T directly and asked for the Premier sales dept. The salesperson identified himself to be in the Premier dept. and call offer better company deals. He offered me a Blackberry 8310 for $199 with a mail-in rebate for $200 only available to Premier members. In addition, my bill would only go up $15 a month for the data plan. He stated that I would be receiving my mail-in rebate in 3-4 weeks. I got the phone a few days later withough any data plan, so I contacted AT&amp;T who informed me that I did not purchase it. In addition, the salesman who sold me the phone was not a Premier sales man. The floor manager stated that there was NO mail-in rebate for $200 as well and apologized for the miscommunication. In addition, the notes entered in by the AT&amp;T sales rep. did not indicate any rebate or data plan for an additional $15 on my bill. Good thing I contacted AT&amp;T or I would have been stuck with a bill for $199 and a contract for 2 years without a data plan unless I wanted to pay an additional $69. 

By the way, their customer service is horrible. I was tranferred to at least 5 people to find out what was going on. In fact, one person even told me that a rebate was on its way. It took me over two hours to find out that I was deceived.</description>

<p>By the way, their customer service is horrible. I was tranferred to at least 5 people to find out what was going on. In fact, one person even told me that a rebate was on its way. It took me over two hours to find out that I was deceived.

from getting disconneted.I took the monies to

		<description>Cingular is the only provider I have had.  Quality was pretty good until the merger/takeover by AT&amp;T.  Service quality has declined since then.  I have more dropped calls and poorer quality calls than before. They have made errors on our phone bills, said they would adjust it and never done so. They found errors that 3 different Customer Support Reps said were obvious and that our phone could not even done and never actually made any adjustment. 
I continued to make payments and they never sent a revised Bill. They did NOT credit the account for payments made or deduct their obvious errors. 
Then they sent the bill to collection. Our credit report was hit.</description>

		<description>ATT is just about the worst company I have ever dealt with. Billing errors on every bill. I swear the people who programmed their billing system must be math-retarded because the numbers never add up. If you really want to have some fun, call up their customer service department and have one of their first level representatives try to explain your billing charges. Then when it gets to be too much, blow up and ask for a supervisor. Not their fault? They are the grease that keeps the wheels of AT&amp;T rolling over the little guy.

I personally have to thank AT&amp;T for providing me with a source of and outlet for my rage... plus I get mediocre phone service as part of the package. SWEET! For roughly $90 a month I get two cell phones and a whole crew of people to yell at over the telephones and I get to wonder if that guy on the VErizon phone really has fewer bars. If he does then why am I standing there thinking about throwing my phone due to lack of signal while he continues his conversation?</description>

		<description>I&#039;ve been having problems with my Cingular Samsung SGH A707. It&#039;s been making screeching noises to everyone I talk to (including the at&amp;t rep), I can&#039;t hear the sound, but everyone else can. I called AT&amp;T wireless to ask what the problem was.(by the way, not the first problem with this phone) They immediately told me I was eligible for a exceptional upgrade and that I could choose any phone they had and receive it for free as long as I resigned up for another 2 year contract. I asked it that free phone choice included PDA&#039;s and the customer service rep assured me that  &quot;yes&quot; I could choose ANY PHONE. I thought, &quot;great&quot;. I went to the AT&amp;T store I was referred to, and to my surprise, there was no notation on my account about a free phone. The only notation was that I could buy a phone at the upgrade price with a new 2 year contract. I said, &quot;why would I do that?&quot; I still have nearly a year on this contract. I called At&amp;t again and after about 45mins of being told there was no notation on my account referring to a conversation about a free phone, I told them to go back and listen to the recording of my conversation witht the rep, &quot;I mean for quality assurance, you did record my phone call right?&quot; &quot;well, we don&#039;t always record phone calls&quot; the rep informed me. But then after the &quot;conversation with my superviser&quot; bit, I was again assured I would get a free phone. I mean because I am a &quot;Level 3&quot; Customer and have been with them for so long....yada yada yada.... yeah...Uh huh, sure. Anyway... I went back to the store and, whadaya know, &quot;Im sorry, but the notation on your account doesn&#039;t say anything about a Free phone&quot;. &quot;I just hung up with your customer service guy 5 minutes ago,&quot; I told the employee, &quot;and he assured me multiple times, that I was to come to your store and pick out a phone&quot;. Next I called At&amp;T and asked how much it was to cancel my contract because my next stop was going to be Verizon, and would he send me an email outlining the final cancellation fee. Again, this new rep (since I can never talk to the same person twice) assured me that I could order my free phone from him, and have it shipped to me but I&#039;d have to pay up front and get a full rebate for the phone later. I said, &quot;I&#039;ll tell ya what, you email all of the details to me including the fact that I am to receive any phone you carry for ie: no charge and the payoff amount of my contract and I&#039;ll make a decision after that. Yeah...You guessed it, NO EMAIL. I&#039;ll be calling again tomorrow to request that payoff amount to be text to me and then I&#039;ll be switching to Verizon. Already have the phone picked out. 		<description>ATT just cut my phones off for using them too much.  I had an International plan an use the phones in Mexico.  They said that I was using them more than 40 % off there towers.  This is the plan they offered me I didn&#039;t go to them,   4 years ago they offered this plan to me.  I am in Mexico now and have no way of contacting them.  Is anybody thinking of suing them?  I would like to be apart of that suit.</description>

		<description>I renewed our 2 year contract in order to updating our phones. we got 2 new flip phones and a blue tooth. my husband didn&#039;t not like flip phone button too small, put his sims card back in old phone. The one I had quit in 10 days screen went white. My mother was very sick and working moved my sins card to husbands phone. 21 days this phone quit screen on this one went black, went to old Cinglar store they said they could not do anything
it had been over 30 days it had been 31 had to deal with company. my mother died had to go to 
Austin TX next day for burial called Cinglar/ATT  could only send phone if I sent old ones to them. my Husband put sims card in old phone which was 4 years old dim screen. got old phone to work there and back still using old phones now 5 years old we can,t be too hard  on phone. 
Two phones with blue tooth are in plastic bag,
at home that was a year ago we have not seen phones since.  
 Just can not find them

		<description>I was an AT&amp;T customer that was forced to switch to Cingular. Although I do feel I was ripped off about the new phone thing my complaint is about the billing practices. You see, after they switched me I paid my new Cingular branded bill and thought all was fine. Then, I get a phone call from a collection agent telling me that AT&amp;T had sent out a past due balance on my &quot;old&quot; account for collection! I called AT&amp;T Wireless. AT&amp;T Wireless admits that they did not merge the bills. They admit that I&#039;ve always paid my Cingular bill. My minutes rolled over.. but not my balance and I was totally unaware. My Cingular bills have always showed the balance as paid. Now this is on my credit report where it is doing financial damage. Did this happen to anybody else? Is there a class action I can join?</description>
