XDA-Developers To Pull All ROM Images By Next Week
The lack of surprise doesn’t make this annoucement any easier. Engadget Mobile is reporting that XDA-Developers has been strongly encouraged to remove all ROM images, hacked and otherwise, from their public FTP server beginning next week. For those of you that don’t know, XDA-Developers is the web’s premier provider of home cooked ROM’s for Window’s Mobile devices. This valuable resource has served as a de-facto testing ground for improving WM performance and adding features to the mobile platform. It appears that most of the files will remain accessible for the rest of this week, so head over there right away and get your download on. What’s next Microsoft?

@MustHaveItNow
You don’t have to go drinking with them them, toss ‘em a few bucks for their troubles, grab a rom and be on your way.
I have gained a great amount of respect for the changes XDA has made to and for the mobile phone community. I personally have logged many days of browser time going through my tilt for everything under the sun. This website has enhanced the product for the buyer and seller alike. Keep up the good wrk!!!!!!!!!!
Big Brother is watching, the sad thing is that they think they can keep them from stopping. The site will just popup under a different name located it a different country. We own it why can’t we modify it????
