So where’s that full review you promised? I’m dying to hear independent reviews of this thing (all I’ve seen so far is people who played with it for 10 min and regurgitate the specs).

I’m intrested in one to replace my aging HP4700 PPC, and am most intrested in how Video playback works.
Can it play back a 800×640 H.264 media file? (I’d hope), how about a 720P TS stream (I expect that this is a no-no, but would be nice)
Using a player like VLC PLAYER would also be nice as MS mediaplayer does not really count.

Is there a bundled media app with it? As far as i know there is no driver support for VIA video acceleration under xp. In the podtech video they were playing video with a 3rd party app. There are no drivers for vista either. i expect the video performance to be pretty poor without new drivers but they could get round the problem with a 3rd party app.

Yah it isa pretty ho device, but i wouldnt pay that much for something whn i could pay the exact same fora badass laptop with a begger screen and a better overall experiance. But it is cool.

Hey thanks for coming thru with the early look on the OQO. I’d seen a video for it in Engadgets site last week, but I never realized how small it was until I peeped the pics of you holding it. If they can get the price down to under $600.00 US, this might be the thing to roll with. The Nokia N800 has got some stiff competition now.

On another note, what’s the timeframe on that Just Blaze interview that you had all of us submit questions for? Been real anxious to see that…..
