Cingular Treo 680/750 Internal Presentation
It’s looks like the one product that everyone is waiting on has an official release date now. We know the Treo 750 will be announced January 8th, but Cingular intends to start moving units immediately. The HSDPA software upgrade for the 750 is scheduled for Q1 (don’t worry, it’ll be free for subscribers), and the Treo 680 will be getting a PTT upgrade. What’s a “PTT upgrade”??
PTT is Push-to-Talk, like Nextel phones.
Anyone think that the next palm will be a marriage of the 680 and the 750?
They finally got rid of the antenna – maybe they could make a phone with HSDPA 320×320, 2+ megapixel cameras and PTT. I should be running Palm…..
does anyone know when the ptt update will come for the treo 680 and how do those get put on the phones? . . . i just got my first treo a couple weeks ago and dont know a whole lot about updates and stuff like that . . .
