The U icon rarely ever goes off on my 8525; if it does it's because of known areas that get bad reception. The thing between switching from EDGE and HSDPA that blaze mentioned is gone it's been switching back up fine. It's well worth it in TX. It's nice and fast too. Oh and shout out to the 850 band.
