Console Wars
Can’t decide on which next-gen console to buy? Granted we all can probably pick up a Wii if we wanted yet many of us don’t want to shell out the $400 and $600 or both on the Xbox 360 and PS3 respectively. Here is a nice little piece of literature that could help make that mind up for you. Gamespot.com, the video game p0rn enthusiast site, has issued an article which directly compares launch titles that are available on both systems while also letting you know which had better graphics vs. features. In the end you’ll have to make your choice (or choose both) based on personal experience but it helps getting it from the pros!
Unfortunately I have both consoles. The PS3 as of yet doesn’t have any really good exclusives. PROS: The blueray is ok and the online gaming is free. CONS: Small controller, no vibration, every release is on the 360 as well. The xbox360 is my preferred. PROS: With the new 360 elite (black version) release upon us the HDMI capability is now equal. Microsoft now rewards players for their accomplishments with actual rewards for acheivements. (I completed the “Old Spice acheivement” and was awarded with throwback games (contra), and xbox points to purchase other material). This controller has the vibration, online capability is the best out there, the camera is like having a futuristic video phone, and the wireless headset is good. CONS: Monthly/annual fees for online gaming (but hey nothing good in life is free). Don’t waste your money on the PS3, at least not until they have a better lineup. Purchase the Xbox Elite you wont be sorry…
