I have also heard from you that love cingular video or hate to love it because it isn’t on limited phones, in any case, the 8525 should be privaladged to that in Q1/2007 also, at least that what my rep told me

PTT has been around for over a year and doesnt really have anything to do with the 3G network. Cingy just didnt have any really good hardware available till now to support it.

I thought the PTT feature was going hand in hand with their upgrade on bandwith and additional 3g features. Also with fewer “Brand New” subscribers available the carriers will really need to focus on additional sources of revenue besides locking folks into contracts

i went to a local cingular store the other day and noticed that PTT button on the 8525 and thought it was pretty cool addition to the ppc. i have a friend who is manager at one of the stores and they mentioned how they were going upgrade the rom of the 8125 so that the “voice dial” button functions as a PTT..which is something i wouldnt doubt, but i dunno if i believe them tho..
