i-mate PDAL Live Shots

The i-Mate PDAL was recently officially announced by i-Mate. Specs are the usual, 2 mega-pixel cam, AKU3.2, Windows Mobile Pocket PC, Wifi, and EDGE. I really can’t say anything else, no keyboard, no go. Enjoy the pics

this is an excellent phone. I purchased this about a month ago and except for the fact that it doesnt have a key pad ( i sure miss it), there’s absolutely no flaw in it!

its wi-fi enabled, synchs with your office network in a jiff, can manage multiple e-mail accounts, has a memory expansion slot, supports all office applications (including editing of excel sheets), has handwirting recognition which is really addictive….a fully loaded phone.

the battery life is good, but the mobile IE is really slow. you may want to download opera for a better+more cost effective experience.

the camera (though its 2 MP) is poor..the picutre are not really good. the video recording is only for namesake-it hardly records anything clearly.

all in all, in case you are looking for a fun phone then this is not for you…better get an iPhone. but if you want a fully functional PDA phone, this is perhaps the most economical yet feature rich option available.

The i-mate Pdal is a raw deal as it hangs easily, callers have difficulty in getting thru to you esp if you are on GPRS mode.Disabling GPRS facility however will stabilize the phone but then u do not have internet! The camera is atrocious compared to the HTC S710 or HTC Touch, let alone the Sony Erikson or Nokia camera phones. MP3 player is basic. Touchscreen keyboard is a pain.
