Cingular 8100 Official Launch Date
Well, I couldn’t just leave you all hanging could I? The Cingular 8100 launch date is November 21st, which had been moved up from a soft-launch of November 28th. For the PowerPoint presentation click on over to Engadget Mobile.

Does this mean that they will be in all stores Nationwide on Tuesday?
Today I went to 5 Cingular corporate stores. None of them has a clue for the Cingular Pearl.
Why the Cingular reps are not aware of Nov 21 release date?
How come nobody received any demo (from the 5 stores)?
nothing improved over the tmobile version ? not even video support ? despite what rim thinks taking videos is as important as viewing them .

Do we know if this date still holds true? Here we are on the 21st and personal experience and some trolling of the web indicates that the Cingular Pearl isn’t in the wild yet.
I wonder if the challenges some T-Mobile customers seem to be experiencing with the .64 OS upgrade indicates that they are still sorting out software issues.
Cingular SUCKS!!! I’ve been told 5 different dates and here it is the 21st and no one at Cingular is answering the phone! We are a VERY large account for Cingular and I was told by our Major Account Manager that we would have 2 demo units the day the Pearl released. Called him and his assistant and her assistant and no one is answering. Give me break. The 7130 roll-out was much smoother than this.
It’s been mentioned that November 21st may have been the internal release date, aka the day Cingular ships the devices out to their stores. Perhaps in the next day or two we’ll see them arrive, just in time for Black Friday. I’m impatiently waiting for mine, that’s for sure!
I received verification from a local business account manager that the Pearls will be available in Cingular stores next week! (11/27/2006 – 12/01/2006)
I can also validate this. Our business account rep said we would have it in-hand by the end of the month.
iT IS THE 28TH AND STILL NO ONE KNOWS WHEN THEY WILL BE RELEASING THE PEARL.
The Pearl WAS on the Cingular Premier Website THIS morning, but has since disappeared. If you didn’t get your order in, I doubt it will be back until Friday or next week. You may be able to call your business rep over at Cingular an order one. I just spoke with Cingular’s Area Sales Manager in my office and he said they ARE in the ordering system for order.
Ugh, well in typical Cingular fashion I’ve just been told the release got pushed back another week. Right now per our business manager, we’ve been told the week of 12/4 – 12/8 is slated for the Pearl’s debut.
What a load of crap…I’ve been waiting for this phone to come out. We all might as well switch to T-mobile because it is already available there.
I am also very anxious for the Pearl release but not anxiuos enough to swith to TMobile!!
The Cingy store in center city philly has signage up for the pearl, but the rep said he didnt know when it would be in…frustrating seeing the sign and them not even having a demo unit or inventory. I am checking online and in-store every day, tho
I’m guessing we’ll see it tomorrow morning on Premier Websites.

They are HERE!!!! I just orderd 6 for users at my company. Looks like they had to wait for that exclusive from T-Mo to expire after all.
Geez, it kinda feels like the day after Christmas, What are we going to wait for next?

Picked mine up abou 10 minutes ago at the store in Needham, MA. Worth the wait, sexy little phone.

p.s.. I got a Blackberry 8100 Pearl Unlocked for my b-friend in eBay last week and it is sooo pretty, it is a great cell phone!
Blackberry mostly launches its mobile in black color, please go for others one also
